BlueAir is a newcomer in the world of air purification, but has made great strides in both design and function. The company strives to produce air purifiers that clean the air while providing beauty and design.

The company was founded in 1996 in Stockholm, Sweden. They have since expanded to Chicago, IL. In the United States they have received various recognitions for their products and design. BlueAir specializes in residential air purification units but, does dabble in commercial units as well. Their company goal is to create air purifiers in aesthetically pleasing designs. Their units incorporate Hepa filtration, and take it a step further than its competitors by offering double Hepa filtration. Many of their units specialize in particles less than .1 micron, which is much smaller than other Hepa systems. Many of their models also feature a certain level of odor and chemical protection. Additional filters can be installed to decrease the amount of smoke or offensive odors in the surrounding air.

There are five different models to choose from that can handle room sizes of 600 sq. feet or less. The prices range from $400-800 dollars, with many dealers offering free replacement filters.
